Frequently Asked Questions:

Question: During the practices before school starts, there are two practices a day. Are players required to attend both?

Answer: Yes, all scheduled in-season practices are mandatory, with the exception of holidays. The practices held before school starts are a critical opportunity for our team to prepare in all phases—Offense, Defense, and Special Teams. These sessions also help condition players for gameplay and reduce the risk of injury.

Question: If my student-athlete cannot make it to a practice for a family or medical reason, how many practices do they need at the start of the season before they can play in a game?

Answer: All student-athletes in all sports at Colony High School are required to complete 10 practices before being eligible to compete in a game. Even if the team holds multiple practices in a single day, each day only counts as one official practice toward the total.
