Knights Football Booster Club

 

The purpose of the Boosters is to support the Colony High School football program, enhance student-athlete experience, promote school spirit, and engage the community through fundraising and volunteer support.

 

The Boosters are established to carry out the following objectives:

  • Promote a non-discriminatory opportunity to all students interested in high school football.
  • Organize volunteers for special projects.
  • Research and propose fundraising opportunities.
  • Acquire all necessary licenses, permits, leases, and certificates.
  • Provide locations and supplies for activities and fundraising.
  • Maintain proper accounting for all funds received and disbursed.
  • Ensure that up-to-date safety and protective gear is provided to each player.
  • Supplement flights, lodging, meals and other travel costs for team as needed.

 

Membership is open to parents/guardians of Colony High School football participants and community members supportive of the football program. Each member shall have one (1) vote on matters brought before the general membership. Membership votes shall be advisory in nature, except as otherwise provided in these bylaws.

 

An annual parent meeting shall be convened by the President and/or Head Coach to provide updates, discuss the football program, and receive feedback from the membership.

  • Additional parent meetings may be convened as needed, including emergency parent meetings.
  • Parent meetings do not require a quorum.
  • Notification shall be published via the team website or through the preferred communication method designated by the Head Coach.
